Certification with CPDQC means that you will have proof of an independent assessment of your training materials and courses.
As a trainer or company, the certification also helps you to raise and maintain standards and to have confidence in the quality of training that you are providing.
The CPD certification process is easy and quite straight-forward and we provide support for you doing the process.
What Is the Situation if My Materials Do Not Pass?
In order to make sure that any courses and materials that we certify meet a certain level and standard, we cannot and do not pass all materials.
The idea behind CPD certification with the CPD Quality Collective group though is not to stop you from gaining our certification but to work with you to ensure a certain standard for your training materials.
So we work with you to improve any materials that do not pass the first time. We will provide guidance and recommendations on any improvements that we feel are needed, in order for you to pass our CPD standards checklist.
Note: We do not charge for materials and courses that we do not certify.
What About Copyright and Intellectual Property?
We appreciate that if you send us your course materials and documents to assess for CPD verification, that these are your materials and should be not be shared.
We do not share any materials that we certify with other people (except for our reviewer) and we also do NOT hold onto any materials as a record.
We have a small team of reviewers and they work under a confidentiality agreement.
If it makes you more comfortable, we do consider reviewing materials and training in person, but, in such circumstances, we do require extra fees for in-person verification.
Costs for Verification
We do NOT charge for the same materials to be re-verified annually.
If the materials have been already certified and unless the materials have changed dramatically, then there is no need to re-certify the materials.
You may use our CPD logo if your materials or training has been certified by us.
- We are a not-for-profit organization and do not charge at this time. We offer peer-reviewed certification.
- We do also have a free verification service for those who are starting off or who are presently suffering financial difficulties as they develop their training career path.
The certification process is normally always completed within 14 days.
