The CPDQC is composed of experts in education and training and the advisory team is composed of several academics and professional trainers and other experts in education.
We were created to offer an affordable and standardised approach to providing a framework for CPD standards.
With over 100 years of joint educational experience on the panel, we have a great understanding of teaching methods and how these methods should best be applied to CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
Using a set of standards that is passed by the panel and updated annually in line with new teaching and training methods and techniques, our standards are respected worldwide and our certified CPD materials have been used in a number of countries, and in sectors and companies including in several universities and large companies internationally.
We consider our standards to be suitable for certifying CPD training courses, materials and events because:
- Whilst CPD is not regulated at the governmental level, we liaise with and use a panel of educational and training experts, including several academics, trainers, professional researchers and educators. We work closely with many areas of education and training to set clear CPD standards and to help genuinely improve and maintain development standards for CPD.
- We have an advisory panel who guide and check the CPD standards to which we adhere and which shapes our certification standards.
- We are an independent organisation whose goal is to raise CPD standards
- We have connections in education and training worldwide, and we continually work to ensure global learning standards including for localisation.
